SAD MADONA: Melancholic shoegaze

Rémi Lauvergne released the first tracks under the name Sad Madona in fall 2021. With his debut album “Amor Hardcore” – a collection of his previously released singles – Sad Madona creates melancholic soundscapes that oscillate between shoegaze, cold wave and post-punk. Technoid elements are used just as much as hard guitar riffs, but always with a certain gloom. We talk to Rémi about this in our July/August issue.
