SCHWARZER ENGEL: Farewell or a new beginning?

You have no influence on “force majeure”. And that’s a good thing, because Schwarzer Engel leave nothing to be desired. From July 26, 2024, the new album “Höhere Gewalt” will be available on CD, vinyl, digitally or as a limited box set. The recently released single “Krähenbruder” is a first foretaste.

Dave Jason reveals: “Originally, I had a kind of ‘Icarus’ story in mind. In the course of writing the song, the story of the crow brother’s departure to find happiness in another place emerged. Although the song has a sad component due to the parting, farewell can also mean a positive, invigorating new beginning. This is what the lyric line ‘Sei gewiss dir dein Glück kommet…’ stands for, among other things.”
