SEQUENCE OF EVENTS: Futuristic experimentation?

SPONSORED POST
The album “The Art of Memory”, which will be released on June 6, 2025, feels like a faded dream. Sequence of Events consists of Deniz Saridas and Joshua Gottmann, who are both rooted in the post-industrial landscapes of West Germany. Shoegaze and slight industrial traces combine with futuristic electro sounds to create an exciting body of work. “We don’t consciously break or combine genres,” they explain. “Everything is interwoven, like in chemistry. Some reactions happen immediately, others take years under pressure.” The two originally come from the visual arts and are self-taught musicians. Perhaps this is precisely the fascination that “The Art of Memory” exudes from the very first track.
