SKAPHOS: Black metal fuses with death metal
Skaphos were founded in France in 2018. Musically, they can be classified as death metal. In their previously released albums, they blend melodic black metal with hard death metal to form a harmonious whole. On April 10, 2026, Skaphos will release their album “The Descent” via Les Acteurs de l’Ombre Productions, in which they revisit their early works. They reinterpret themselves, so to speak! The first four songs contain tracks from the album “Bathyscaphe” (2020), the remaining four from “Thooi” (2022). You can find out more about the quartet in our May/June issue. And here too, of course.
Skaphos ‘ live shows in particular have long since become legendary. They have already supported Vader, Marduk and Belphegor.
