STAHLMANN: Hard NDH metal symphonies

Stahlmann‘s new album “Schwarz wie der Tod” will be released on February 27, 2026. The title track captivates with hard, female screams. They come from Bianca Herrmann (About Monsters) – an acquaintance, as the guitarist in her band accompanied Stahlmann for years as a sound engineer. The idea came out of a beer mood when they met at the local club – they only live about half an hour away from each other – but turned out to be spot on: “It wasn’t planned for a long time, we just wanted to do it together and developed it together,” explains Mart Soer. We could imagine playing pretty much any of the new songs live. Is the setlist already set? “No, we’re actually still working on it and seeing. But we’ll be taking some new songs with us on the tour. But in the end, we’ll decide at short notice based on our gut feeling. We’ll lock ourselves away a few days before the tour, play through everything and see what fits and what doesn’t.” – Find out more in our March/April issue.
