Susurration kick off their EP “Dominance” with the hard-hitting and dark track “Break Me Down.” A breather?—Not a chance! Instead, there’s plenty of power, which comes through in their blend of aggrotech and industrial metal. The energy carries over into “Consensual Noise Content,” where dramatic strings and numerous other surprises add that extra kick. Thematically, “Dominance” seductively flirts with the BDSM scene. This is complemented by the remixes of “Boibitch,” “Fuck My Brain” (originally by Anna Soares), and Dunkelsucht’s “Escalate,” on which Susurration puts its own unique stamp.
