THE DEGRAY EFFECT: Everything on black?

From 1984-1997, singer Nigel Degray was the frontman of the Berlin goth band Marquee Moon. With his new project The Degray Effect, he is releasing the album of the same name, for which former Marquee Moon colleague and manager Skid Byres also contributed some lyrics. The album “The Degray Effect” is an authentic journey back in time to the mid-eighties. Both the sound and the songs reflect the clear and unfortunately forgotten vibe of a time when black coats, vinyl and leather were still in the majority in German nightclubs. We talk to the band in our December/January issue, where you can also find out what the schoolgirl is all about.
