THE HORRORS – “Night Life”

Dreamy end-time atmosphere
THE HORRORS
“Night Life“
Album (Fiction Records)
Release: March 21, 2025
Blurry and atmospheric, The Horrors introduce their new album “Night Life” with the song “Ariel”. Blurry because the music is difficult to describe and grasp. Nevertheless, it manifests itself in your brain without body or form and slowly settles in. On a continuous loop, “The Silence That Remains” works brilliantly, celebrating a certain end-time mood. Post-punk? Dark rock? Shoegaze? No matter what you call it, “Night Life” is catchy and appeals to a non-linguistic, instinctive level. Perhaps the songs were created in a similar way. Dreamy melancholy meets danceable beats.
