A permanent goose bump comes over you when listening to “Fanal”. Das Ich let the dark abysses of the world, humanity and the soul flare up like a mighty inferno. An oppressive apocalyptic mood, coupled with the sound that Das Ich created out of nothing to form the New German Art of Death and developed further in “Fanal”. Cello and other classical elements provide more space for harmony. Stefan Ackermann in absolute top form spits the dark, multi-layered lyrics contemptuously, menacingly and passionately, blending fabulously with Bruno Kramm’s melodic vocals to create an apocalyptic manifesto.
