A quarter of a century after their last release, The Northern Territories return with “A Star in Orbit Still” – an album that transports their timeless sound into the present. But the duo never really went away: “We always kept in touch, even when we weren’t making new music,” John Alexander Ericson tells us in our May/June issue. Two years ago, they started experimenting together in the studio again, and the very first song, “How Mercy Feels Tonight”, made it clear to them: “We’ve got something special here.”
