THIRTY SECONDS TO MARS: Photographic love letter?

The first musical sign of life from Thirty Seconds to Mars in five years is the single “Stuck.” Mastermind Jared Leto explains, “Thanks to my incredibly creative mother, my brother and I were instilled with a love of art and photography from a young age. The video for ‘Stuck is a love letter to some of my favorite photographers. Artists who have made a deep impression on me such as Richard Avedon, Irving Penn, Robert Mapplethorpe, Diane Arbus, Herb Ritts and many more. Artists whose work changed the way I looked at things and kept showing me new possibilities. The video for ‘Stuck’ is a continuation of a journey that began with ‘Up in the Air,’ a celebration of art, design, fashion and the remarkable people who bring them to life.”
