TORI AMOS: Fighting for democracy?
On May 1, 2026 Tori Amos will release her 18th album “In Times of Dragons”. The album is an intense journey, about which Tori says: “It’s a metaphorical story about the struggle for democracy over tyranny, mirroring the current, heinous, non-accidental destruction of democracy in real time by the ‘dictator who believes in lizard demons’ in their usurpation of America.” Here, then, politics and the personal come together to form a powerful whole.
