Touch by Touch sound somehow familiar and yet new. With their debut “Power Dynamics”, the duo from Vienna create sounds that are anchored in the realms of post-punk and darkwave. The homely eighties feeling is perhaps also due to the fact that Touch by Touch only use analog equipment from the eighties and nineties. A deliberate reduction to the essentials – which can be felt in all nine songs, so that every note breathes authenticity. Fans of Joy Division will certainly also enjoy Touch by Touch and appreciate the special freshness inherent in their sound.
