WARDRUNA – “Birna”

Stunning Pagan Folk
WARDRUNA
“Birna“
Album (Sony Music)
Release: January 24, 2025
Wardruna dedicate their sixth album “Birna” to the bear. It deals with the myth of the bear, which has occupied a special position since time immemorial. Wardruna draw a line from it to the present and make us think about our own role in nature. Dressed in their characteristic sound, which is dominated by ancient instruments and singing in the old language, peppered with real images of nature, Wardruna evoke deep emotions with every track. Earthy, pagan and mystical, they create cinematic images in your mind, making “Birna” a soundtrack that leaves you speechless and overwhelmed.
