The bear has always played an important role. So it’s no coincidence that Wardruna’s sixth album “Birna” (“Bear”), which will be released on January 24, 2025, is entirely dedicated to the bear, making less of an excursion into the past and more of a bridge to the present. We talk to mastermind Einar Selvik in our winter edition about the complex topic, shaking trees and homework for the inclined audience.
