… that’s what they do on their new album “Wolkenschieber”.\nOn the one hand, In Extremo<\/strong> succeed in capturing the sun and bringing a smile to the listener’s lips, while on the other, there is always a certain complexity to the lyrics that only really becomes apparent on repeated listens.\nDespite their multi-layered sound, in which their medieval rock is sometimes mixed with electronic elements, metal influences or oriental music, the sextet remains true to itself both musically and lyrically on “Wolkenschieber”.\nIn our October\/November issue, we talk to singer Micha Rhein about high-proof drinks with sugar, soulful songs that bring tears to our eyes and guest musicians with handshake qualities. <\/p>\n\n
