In the end, SEX PISTOLS was chosen.  Why? Manager Malcolm McLaren had an alternative boutique with Vivienne Westwood on the King&#8217;s Road called SEX. He later said that the name came from &#8220;the idea of a gun, a pin-up, a young thing, a sexy assassin&#8221;.
