Over 40 years ago, they thrilled the music scene, especially in the UK, and were compared to <strong>Siouxsie and the Banshees<\/strong>, <strong>Bauhaus<\/strong>, <strong>The Birthday Party<\/strong> and <strong>Joy Division<\/strong> as German goth pioneers. Then it was quiet around the Hamburg band for a long time &#8230; and their records became increasingly difficult to obtain. With the release of &#8220;Gift: The 4AD Years&#8221; on May 9, 2025, <strong>Xmal Deutschland<\/strong> &#8216;s first two albums &#8220;Fetisch&#8221; (1983) and &#8220;Tocsin&#8221; 1984 are available on vinyl for the first time in decades! There are also additional EP tracks &#8220;Incubus Succubus II&#8221; and &#8220;Qual&#8221;. Anyone who gets hold of the box will also receive an elaborately designed photo book and can really indulge in the past.
