The Cure released the lead single “High” from the album “Wish” on March 16, 1992. It topped the US Billboard Modern Rock Tracks at No. 1, IR 6 and GB 8. In Australia and New Zealand, “High” is The Cure‘s best-selling single. Commercially, the quiet love song was effusively praised. In the video clip, the band is on a kind of cloud castle and Robert Smith floats through the air on the colorful kite.
