The former was allegedly recorded by producer Daniel Miller himself, hissing and spitting to simulate the sound of a whip, as Depeche<\/strong> Mode were unable to adequately record the sound of a real whip. In another interview, however, Fletch contradicted this theory and said that he had been kissed by a whip once in his life – and that it could be heard on “Master and Servant”. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
