In 2001, a few copies of The Misfits<\/strong> ‘ “12 Hits from Hell – The MSP Sessions” went on sale. Did you already know these facts about the album that was never officially released? <\/p>\n\n

\u2605 The “12 Hits from Hell” were recorded in the summer of 1980 at Master Sound Productions Studios.<\/p>\n\n

\u2605 At the time, the band consisted of singer Glenn Danzig, guitarist Bobby Steele, bassist Jerry Only and drummer Arthur Googy.<\/p>\n\n

\u2605 However, there was a line-up change in October and so the planned album was scrapped.<\/p>\n\n

\u2605 The songs “London Dungeon”, “Horror Hotel”, “Ghouls Night out” and “Halloween” were released in 1981. The remaining recordings became demos for the 1982 album “Walk Among Us”. <\/p>\n\n

\u2605 In 2001, “12 Hits from Hell” should have been released on Caroline Records. However, Glenn Danzig and Jerry Only were dissatisfied with the layout of the packaging, the liner notes, the mix and the mastering.
