The album is characterized by minimalist but highly emotional soundscapes that you would love to immerse yourself in and sink into. Mastermind Darius Keeler explains: &#8220;The album came about after we had composed the song &#8216;Patterns&#8217;. We loved the space and minimalist power of the song, it reminded us of our debut album &#8216;Londinium&#8217; and how we approached songwriting back then &#8211; with heavy rhythms and a melancholy that permeates the soul. When we started writing the new album, I was listening to a lot of Elgar&#8217;s &#8216;Nimrod&#8217; and wanted to use brass instruments as an extra dimension to give the songs even more emotion. Our last album &#8216;Call to Arms &amp; Angels&#8217; was quite a heavy album looking back due to the whole Covid experience.
