Rammstein<\/strong> cried the “tears of a crowd of old children” 23 years ago: The single “Mutter” was released on March 25, 2002. Although Lindemann<\/strong> is normally responsible for the lyrics, “Mutter” was written by Richard Kruspe. The video clip almost led to the break-up of the band. After a tour lasting several months and a break of only three days, the band members boycotted the shoot. Only Lindemann<\/strong> was on hand, so that the clip only shows him. <\/p>\n\n
