With the song \u201cWelcome | Death,\u201d British modern metal band Collapse the Sky offers a first glimpse of their EP, set to be released this fall. Guitarist and band leader Flynn Green talks about career highlights, new approaches to songwriting, and dead forests in our two-part interview. <\/p>\n\n

What Has Happened So Far<\/strong><\/p>\n\n

Collapse the Sky formed in 2016 out of an online project by singer Lee Margaillan and guitarist Flynn Green, who, after writing a few songs, decided they\u2019d rather start a real band so they could perform live. A lot has happened since then, as Green explains. \u201cWe\u2019ve released three albums so far: \u2018Seven Eyes\u2019 in 2016, \u2018Consumed\u2019 in 2018, and \u2018White Flags\u2019 in 2022. We\u2019ve had the chance to play at major festivals like Bloodstock and Download\u2014which is a huge honor for an English band\u2014and we\u2019ve even been featured on the BBC.\u201d Not a bad track record for a band that\u2019s still quite young, which is now presenting a brand-new song, \u201cWelcome | Death.\u201d <\/p>\n\n
