There are bands that eventually disappear. And there are bands whose music has long since broken free from recorded media and their own history. Silke Bischoff<\/strong> belongs to the latter category. For more than two decades, large parts of their catalog were virtually unavailable. Yet the songs remained a staple on the dance floors of the goth scene. Now the band is making a comeback\u2014not as a nostalgic revival, but as a respectful engagement with a legacy that continues to resonate with many people to this day. In an interview with Orkus! in our July\/August issue, founding member Axel Kretschmann looks back on the band\u2019s early days with Felix Flaucher, the difficult years, and the emotional WGT performance in 2025. <\/p>\n\n
