In 1994, the song \u201cAnders sein\u201d was released by <strong>Second Decay<\/strong>, <strong>Christian Purwien\u2019s<\/strong> band at the time. The track, taken up by Purwiens and Thomas Kowa\u2019s new project <strong>Heldautomat<\/strong>, has remained comparatively minimalist\u2014but not as a nostalgically romanticized revival, rather as a reinterpretation with darker, more nuanced contours.
