For more than twenty years, Janosch Moldau<\/strong> has been one of the defining voices of German synth-pop. The musician from southern Germany has consistently carved out his own niche somewhere between melancholy, introspection, and electronic soundscapes. His new EP, \u201cGoodbye World\u201d\u2014which is out today\u2014feels like the antithesis of the current zeitgeist: quieter, more focused, and more personal. But anyone who assumes the title signifies a final farewell is mistaken. Rather, the release tells the story of a person who, after years of constant movement, is consciously stepping back. <\/p>\n\n
