Lacrimas Profundere<\/strong> \u2019s new single is titled \u201cNevermore\u201d and is another preview of their 14th studio album, which is set to be released on September 25, 2026, and will be titled \u201cLay Me Down O Silent Fear.\u201d Mastermind Oliver Nikolas Schmid explains: \u201cThis was the song I originally didn\u2019t want to include on the album anymore; it was one of the last ones we wrote, and when Julian came up with the idea for the vocal line, to be honest, it was actually a bit too pop-sounding for my taste. But as a<\/strong> self-confessed Bon Jovi fan<\/strong>, I\u2019m not really in a position to make that kind of criticism, am I? (laughs) New elements kept getting added, and now the track really sounds like Type O Negative<\/strong> \u2014and yes, I\u2019ll stand by it\u2014covering Bon Jovi<\/strong>. Honestly, for me, it\u2019s already the gothic rock song of the year. Julian already liked the song in the first demo version, back when I hadn\u2019t even recognized its potential yet, and I let him convince me. Now I\u2019m damn glad about it\u2014we\u2019ve already played the song live a few times, and even before its release, it\u2019s become the highlight of our entire set. We\u2019ve made 14 albums, and it\u2019s songs like this one that I know will always have a permanent place in our live set. So I\u2019m really proud of what this song has turned into.\u201d <\/p>\n\n
