The Norwegian duo<\/mark><\/strong> strikes again. Darkthrone have made themselves comfortable in the border area of Heavy and Doom Metal, but pay more attention to dynamics on the current work and weave in snappier passages. Like the strong opener “Caravan of Broken Ghosts” or “Kevorkian Times”. Instead, the more than ten-minute long “The Sea Beneath the Seas of the Sea” surprises with weird, almost spacey sounds in the middle section. The bottom line is that this is a varied album by the two warriors. <\/p>\n\n
