How often have you been to the WGT so far? (As a visitor and as an artist)<\/strong>I have been there twice so far with Vogelfrey as the artist. Unfortunately, it has not yet fit privately, but I will certainly make up for it. I would like to see more of the WGT than the Heidnische Dorf and hotels. (winks)What did you think before the gig and how do you look back on it today?<\/strong>In 2017, when we played at the WGT for the first time, we had to clear the stage in between because a pretty heavy storm passed by. We played open-air, so we (and unfortunately also some of our instruments) got quite wet. But what’s more annoying is that it cost us playing time, of course. Accordingly, I was a bit nervous about what the weather gods might have in store for us this time. Luckily this was best sunny festival weather – phew! It felt a bit like a curse was broken and the party in front of the stage (this time without umbrellas) was great.Which song did you particularly like to play?<\/strong>Currently, “God vs. God” from our current album “Titanium” is a lot of fun for me live. I like this combination of hardness and devotional, melodic elements. It feels like we become a powerful force of nature on stage, pretty cool. Otherwise, “Nicht A” is of course irresistible live.Were there any personal meetings that meant a lot to you?<\/strong>In fact, this time there was somehow hardly any time to stroll around the square and meet people, but it was nice to play with Faun again and get to know the folk of Wolfenmond.What will you remember for a long time from this year’s WGT?<\/strong>There are a few elements that can significantly influence the fun factor at a concert: Enough people who are into partying, enough space to party on stage, working technology (or just not (wink)), a well-rehearsed band and of course the right weather conditions. Everything has come together at WGT this time, which is really fantastic.”<\/p>\n
