YEULE: Dark nineties sound

The new Yeule album “Evangelic Girl Is a Gun” will be released on May 30, 2025. Yeule explains: “I wanted to pay homage to my life as a painter with this album.” Yeule was inspired by Polish artist, Zdzisław Beksiński: “For me, Beksiński portrays the creatures that crawl through his dystopian, tranquil landscapes so beautifully and with the utmost care. The nature of painting as a medium is a reflection of my emotions, both fierce and gentle. A fleeting moment in my life rewritten in paint and captured in time.” A harbinger is the new single “Skullcrusher” with a dark sound that is somewhat reminiscent of the innovations of the nineties.
