KILLING KIND – “Being Human”

Post-punk with an eighties feel
KILLING KIND
“Being Human“
Album (Aenaos Records)
With irresistible post-punk, warm synth sounds and ice-cold guitar riffs, Killing Kind immediately play their way into hearts and minds. Their second album “Being Human” is a dystopian mixture of excellent, modern sound and cozy eighties sound déjà vu. You can’t help but think of bands like Eurythmics, Killing Joke, Led Zeppelin or Depeche Mode on some of the tracks. The Wall” is particularly touching as a calm intermediate pole. These impressions are paired with gloomy end-time themes, which are underpinned with uncomfortable truths, horror fantasies and science fiction. An illustrious mixture!
