MEERSEIN: Infinite synth pleasure

Automatic translation. Improvements are constantly being worked on.

Jan Schütz, alias Meersein, has been playing guitar since childhood and founded a punk band at the age of 16. He was already influenced by music as a child. His parents introduced him to bands such as Depeche Mode, David Bowie and The Cure. With Meersein, he moved musically more in the direction of synth-pop. The first single “Speechless” was released in 2022 and now his first EP “Ocean” is out. We talk to the likeable artist in our May/June issue about ebb and flow, the fascination of the sea and other movements of the tides.
