BESEECH: Gothic metal between beauty and despair
What began in Sweden in 1995 and took a ten-year break in 2006 rose like a phoenix from the ashes in 2016: Beseech, the gothic metal giants, used the years to regroup, which had an impact on their great music. – Now another ten years have passed and the single “Hesitation” acts as a new harbinger for their upcoming album “Future. Present. Past”. This will be released on August 28, 2026 via Despotz Records. The reunion of the extraordinary vocal duo Erik and Lotta signals a return to the lush harmonies and dark moods we love so much, while pushing Beseech ‘s sound into new, unexplored realms. Between beauty and despair, they tread the dark paths of gothic metal.
