After an eight-year hiatus, KOSMOBERKH will release “Troglobiten in Absonderlicht” on November 6, 2026, via Zeichenlos Records on limited-edition vinyl and digitally. The title draws a parallel between nightclubs and stalactite caves as places that take on their own mysterious atmosphere through artificial light. The album’s lyrics explore themes such as climate change, pandemics, wars, digital parallel worlds, and extremism. Musically, David Barteczko combines acoustic guitar and cello with experimental songwriting, doom ballads, and cinematic soundscapes. Together with cellist Jann Michael Engel, KOSMOBERKH performed live for the first time since their hiatus in 2024 .
