HÃ¥vard Ellefsen(Mortiis) faced our A-Z. Here part 1:

Alcohol: beer, whiskey and terrible hangovers. My body hates the after effects of alcohol and usually punishes me with a hangover that lasts two to three days. Fortunately, I don’t drink as much as I used to.

Balance: A head with as little mental clutter as possible. I can’t think properly if I have lots of little unfinished things or open ends.

Chaos: Too many unfinished business. It can be anything from a messy house to a lot of music that I can’t do anything with. It puts my mind in a disturbed state and causes stress, and then I struggle to sort out my thoughts until I get everything corrected.

Darkness: Getting lost in too much negative thinking. I do this often, though I’ve spent decades talking about avoiding the darkness, but it still holds me somewhat captive.

Success: To balance your creative output, your life, your family and your business success. Of course I’m not always successful, haha!

Family: the presence in your life you can’t wait to get away from for a few days, only to realize you’re a wreck without them.

Luck: The only luck I have is bad luck. True story.

In the next part, HÃ¥vard talks about heroes, seasons and his body.
