“Voliere” is a pleasantly catchy temptation to indulge, attentive, thought-provoking, perspective-opening and permissive. A sense of ambiguity and necessary clarity are not contradictory. The album touches, calms, but also gently shakes you up and you feel closer to the essence of the essential. In “Erholsam”, the magical sound and gracefully flowing melody capture the light-heartedness that is also contained in the lyrics. For all their soothing lightness, Blindzeile’s songs are full-bodied, reflective and unafraid of depth! Prudent, soulful, moving and like balm, they embrace the ear canals and the mind.
