CNVX: This is what modern electronic metal sounds like

CNVX were founded in Chemnitz in 2022. What seems almost unpronounceable comes from “Convex”, without vowels, and is also pronounced as “Convex”. Although “C-N-V-X” is also fine for the band, as they have already assured us. The name was bassist Dirk’s nickname and is intended to “reflect his love of geometry and precision in music”, as he explains to us. The quartet released their debut album “Unfolding” in 2024. Musically, CNVX move between metal, electro and modern rock, resulting in an intense, unique mix. They recently released their EP “PATH I – RISING”, which we will be talking to the band about in more detail soon.
