Days of Sorrow show what timeless post-punk sounds like on their new album “Raptures”. They weave the best elements of dark wave and a large portion of eighties feeling into an irresistibly captivating mixture that sounds nostalgic and modern at the same time. Just let yourself be carried away by the melodic sounds that are devoid of any melancholy, but will immediately draw you to the dance floor, or at least won’t let you sit still so easily. “Raptures” means “rapture” and you can actually get into such a state when listening to the eleven tracks. Preferably in a continuous loop.
