DUCTAPE: Powerful dark wave
DUCTAPE recently released their single “Obscure”. It is already the third single from the dark wave duo’s new album, which is expected at the end of September and will be entitled “Faded Flowers”. “Obscure” is characterized by a hard synth bassline, distorted guitars and cool vocals. Lyrically, it addresses disillusionment and the emotional numbness that follows the collapse of belief systems. It reflects a cycle in which decay becomes normality and resistance sinks into silence.
