Event tip: ROCK AM RING 2023

At the beginning of June, it’s once again “Nürburgring? Are you ready to rock?” and even if nothing is as certain as the annual discussions about whether it is all still Rock, Rock Am Ring is and remains the bastion of German Rock festivals, but as a festival of this size it has always been open to other styles. Headlining 2023 will be the Foo Fighters, who will make their only headlining appearance in 2023 in Europe at the sister festivals and will also release their new album “But Here We Are” on this 02 June. Other headliners include Kings of Leon and Die Toten Hosen, who virtually helped open RAR2022 last year as guests of the Donots and will close the circle this year as headliners of the closing day.

But also beyond these rock greats there is a lot to discover in the line-up. So on Friday, Rise Against, Fever 333, Yungblud, Jinjer or Motionless in White, among others, will also provide excitement. On Saturday it will be really colorful with K.I.Z, Tenacious D, Evanescence, Gojira, The Distillers and VV(Heartagram) aka Ville Valo. And on Sunday you can look forward to popular acts like Bring Me the Horizon or Machine Gun Kelly, great rock by Architects, Arch Enemy or Three Days Grace as well as representatives of the spearhead of German Indie Rock with Die Nerven and Thees Ullmann.
