Interview with USERS (Part 1 of 2)

With their debut album “Welcome to Civilization,” USERS make it clear right from the start where they’re headed. In our two-part interview, singer Sean Flaherty talks about this and what drives the band.
Full steam ahead!
It all started with a little prank one night of heavy drinking, as Sean recalls: “We went to the same music school, but were in different semesters. At some point, I saw Oskar and Esbjørn playing, and I was completely blown away by how Esbjørn played—I fell in love with the idea of a punk band.” But it wasn’t quite that simple. He continues: “Unfortunately, our paths went our separate ways after that. But some time later, I saw him outside a club—I was a little drunk—and I just tackled him to the ground and told him we should start a band right then and there.”
