KILLING KIND: Swedish post-punk with an eighties feel
SPONSORED POST

What began as a pandemic project in 2021 took on completely new traits in 2023 at the latest with the first, self-titled album. Killing Kind was founded by Mats Molund (formerly of Fahrenheit, Schnabel, Lee Harvey Oswald Ensemble), Mats Wigerdal ( Kitchen & the Plastic Spoons, among others) and Björn Norberg(Quantum Leap). – All three are no strangers, with musical roots dating back to the 1980s. This also manifests itself in the sound of their second, recently released album “Being Human”, in which reminiscences of the eighties are clearly recognizable. Horror and science fiction themes create a dystopian vision of the future with a post-punk aesthetic. The album title is a statement in itself, especially at a time when we are increasingly inundated with artificiality. Being Human” was recorded at Sunlight Studios by Tomams Skogsberg(Entombed, Dismember).
