With “O Silent Fear,” Lacrimas Profundere offer a first glimpse into their 14th studio album, which is set to be released on September 25, 2026, and will be titled “Lay Me Down O Silent Fear.” The title track “O Silent Fear” alone makes it clear that Lacrimas Profundere cannot be pigeonholed into any single genre. They effortlessly blend elements of gothic metal with dark metal and metalcore, as if this fusion had always been the most natural thing in the world.
