Between the streets of Zurich and the shadowy soundscapes of electropop, trip-hop and singer-songwriter elements, Madame Minor has created her own niche. Behind the solo project is Simone Meier, who delves deep into emotional abysses with “Ghosting”. The single combines oppressive intensity with an almost hypnotic atmosphere and paints pictures of loss, dependency and inner conflicts. It is precisely the mixture of fragility and dark elegance that gives the song its power. She succeeds in making complex feelings tangible and using them to create her own haunting world of sound.
