OCINN: Dark piano sounds inspired by DANNY ELFMAN

Ocinn was founded back in 2007. With the new album “Nebelgeister”, romantic and dark lyrics merge with sinister piano sounds. Nico, the artist behind Ocinn, explains how the band came about: “When I was a young girl, I saw the movie ‘Edward with the Scissor Hands’. I still remember very clearly how much the film music inspired me back then. The orchestral pieces with Danny Elfman ‘s boys’ choir touched me deeply. At that moment, I knew that one day I wanted to make music myself and create such special sounds. I then started composing my own pieces while I was at school. Early on, I had the desire to form my own band to share and publish my music.” We talk to Ocinn in our May/June issue.
