For two decades, PHAL:ANGST has been known for its consistently unconventional music that blends industrial and post-rock. Founded in 2006 on the stage of Vienna’s Rhiz, the band has since played with artists such as DÄLEK, Lydia Lunch, and Boris; had their music remixed by Lustmord, Justin K. Broadrick, and Jarboe, among others; and performed at unusual venues ranging from museums to vegan food stalls. To mark their anniversary, they’re releasing their sixth studio album, “Minor Tremors”—and on September 25, the release will be celebrated in style at the Rhiz.
