Take a young David Bowie, add epic orchestral sounds and mix them with seventies disco and a touch of cabaret. Add to that a certain Robert Smith melancholy in the voice and voila! – This is Walt Disco. But to describe what the music of the Scots actually sounds like is almost impossible. So the second album “The Warping” is also a colorful mixture that somehow feels strangely familiar, but at the same time absolutely new. Although the lyrics are very personal and almost demand a separate listen, the music lets you drift off weightlessly. Still an insider tip, but probably not for long!
