On January 27, 2004, the box set “Join the Dots: B-Sides & Rarities” by The Cure was released. Did you already know these 7 facts?
★ This is a 4-CD box set consisting of B-sides. Many of them have never been released on CD before.
★ A total of 70 tracks can be found on “Joint he Dots: B-Sides & Rarities”.
★ “Join the Dots” was remastered by Chris Blair at Abbey Road Studios.
★ The box contains a detailed booklet with track-by-track commentary and an overview of The Cure‘s band history.
★ On the track “I’m Cold”, Siouxsie Sioux can be heard singing backing vocals. This came about when The Cure accompanied Siouxsie and the Banshees on their UK tour in 1979.
★ “Join the Dots” includes an early version of “Lament”, originally recorded by Steven Severin(Siouxsie and the Banshees) as co-producer.
★ The compilation reached number 13 in the UK charts (Rock & Metal Albums).
