THE AWAKENING releases dark energy with new album

Did you know? The Awakening started out in Johannesburg. It was founded in 1995 and a book was published to accompany “Autumn’s Children” (2023), the latest album by Ashton Nyte’s solo project. His “Solo Acoustic Tour 2024” not only features the new album “The Awakening”, which will be released on October 18, but also pieces from Ashton’s entire career. Songs that already have such a character were the easiest to adapt for this acoustic concert atmosphere. “‘Your Vampire’ is such a beautiful ode to love and devotion. As one of the more atmospheric 12-string acoustic pieces, it works really well live,” he reveals in our winter issue.
